As a grad school, and a law school at that, the social scene is not
nearly as well-developed as at an undegraduate institution. However,
the students at Cardozo are a relatively fun-loving bunch. There are
frequent bar-night on thursday where open-bars (although for only a
small duration) exist. A few professors have even trekked out to such
events. In the spring of each year is the annual Barrister's Ball, a
rough equivalent of the prom, only without the staunch requirement of a
date, and with alcohol readily available.
A specific favorite of the students is a local bar called the
Reservoir, where students traditionally go after first-year exams to
engage in copious drinking. Second and third-year continue to go there
as well.
