Social Life Survey |
| Full-time law program |
As an "older" "returning" student, I was more or less out of the social
loop. For those within the target age group, the school offered a
variety of ethnic-based groups, as well as groups aimed at those with an
interest in certain particular practice areas.
The school schedules many events centered around a speaker of national
prominance, or around a panel of prominent jurists. Alumni panels are
also featured from time to time. When I was in attendance, then-
President Clinton was one such speaker.
Alumni receive invitations to these events, as well as alumni networking
events.
There was a "bar night," held on a weekly basis, which I never
attended. The school also puts on a yearly "Law Revue" show, featuring
skits and songs intended to be send up of professors and other school-
related issues of comic import, in which I did participate.
