Quality of life is good, considering the work load. Housing is plentiful
in the area - especially in the loop and Clayton. Most areas are
reasonably priced and safe. Avoid the skinker ave area (not safe) as well
as the school sponsored off campus housing also known as "Parkview
Properties" (too expensive for what you get, poor maintenance, and may
not be in safe area.) The facilities are great - the school builing is
excellent. It is wired for computers ( I believe they are going to
install wireless lans too) has a classic gothic architecture with many
places to study. It is on main campus. Living expenses in St Louis are
lower than national average.
