Admission & Application Survey |
| Full-time law program |
Interviews: Wash U typically does not interview.
Advice on getting in: bump up that LSAT score, have at least 8 people
read your personal statement, and apply to law schools using the LSAC
system: it saves you incredible amounts of time. Get your stuff in
early, too: Thanksgiving is really the latest you should have it in,
since most law schools operate on a rolling admissions policy
Selectivity: Wash U is a top 25 school, and looking to move up. Their
criteria is becoming more and more selective: the LSAT score I had
probably wouldn't get me in now. Undergrad GPA is important, but is
fairly offset by the quality of institution you attended. I.e., a 2.9
from the University of Chicago would probably get you in, whereas a 3.9
from Ball State might not help all that much.
