The university is a host to several fraternities. There are about 3
which have a strong presence in the UP College of Law. These are:
Upsilon Sigma Phi, Alpha Phi Beta and Sigma Rho. As to sororities,
there is a law sorority, it is called Portia. There are a lot of bars,
restaurants within a five mile radius. A lot of bars are open.
However, due to the workload since the professors frown on prepared
materials for class, the social life is mostly in the library. But as
to availability, everything is available.
