Period. The work is strenuous but manageable, the people are polite and congenial, the professors are respectful, fun and engaged. Housing in Charlottesville can be tight, but if you're willing to drive a bit you can live on an expansive farm for little money. UVA's campus is impressive -- 7 or 8 gyms, great libraries, a wonderful hospital and student health center. My only complaint -- the sprawl. Outside of main street, the town is becoming one big strip mall.
