If you want to work at a big name firms in Washington DC, New York, San
Franciso, Los Angeles, or Boston, you'll be fine (provided your grades are not
terrible, and even then, you might be okay). The career services office does a
fantastic job helping students, and it is very caring and dedicated.
If you want to pursue public service, you'll be fine as well. There are plenty
of opportunities to work in district attorney offices, and with Washington D.C.
only two hours away, students can readily network with UVA Law grads at the
Department of Justice, Capitol Hill, or even, in some cases, the White House.
Also, a number of top students eventually land law professor positions, so if
you want to go into academia, UVA Law is a good option too.
