As a 1L, I was not able to participate in OCI's this year. However, in
observing the process, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of firms on
campus. The U has a great deal of prestige locally, and that carries throughout
the mountain west. There are literally dozens of firms in the greater Salt Lake
area, with perhaps 15-20 numbering 25 lawyers or more. Outside of the region,
the school doesn't place as well (but a strong GPA/class rank may still get you
in the door)
