Utah was actually something of an afterthought for me. After looking at
the school's location, reputation, and low-low-low tuition, I decided to
send in an application. The admissions department was incredible - I
received a phone call from the assoc. dean of admissions informing me of
my acceptance a mere three weeks after the school received my completed
application. Given my numbers and the promptness of my acceptance, I
think it is very safe to say that the U is extremely LSAT heavy (I'm in
the lower 10% of uGPAs and the upper 10% of LSAT scores). I'd like to
think that my essay helped, but after speaking to some of my classmates
and hearing their (far more interesting) stories, I feel pretty
confident that it's all about the numbers.
