Admission & Application Survey |
| law school |
The admissions process as far as application requirements was average
for similar schools; however, the admissions staff at UT was
outstanding. They assisted in all aspects necessary for the applicant
to submit a complete application. After I was accepted I lined up a
place to live. Due to an emergency with my would be roommate, I found
myself without a place to live just two weeks before the first day of
class. Even though it was not required of them, the admissions staff
assisted in locating a place to live since I was unfamiliar with
Austin. The staff did not stop at admission. Several admission staff
members remembered my name and continually asked if I was enjoying my
experience. While I was a student, I had a friend that was applying to
UT law. I put her in contact with the admissions office, and they
assisted her in her admission and acceptance. Although UT law is very
selective on admitting applicants, it is a large law school. The
admissions office has taken time for one on one help in every instance I
am aware and asks current students about their admissions and overall
law school experience so they can better assist future applicants.
