There were no interviews, and I don't think personal statements factored in much because I wrote a really bad one and still got accepted. The school uses a rolling admissions process, so the earlier you apply, the better your chances are. Also, if you have less than stellar grades/LSAT, the evening program is much easier to get into and allows you to transfer to full time after the first year.
