Employment Prospects Survey |
| Full-time law program |
Career prospects are slim
coming out of the school. Most students wind up working for small plaintiff's
firms, even those who are on law review. The school has no prestige with
employers and most employers who come to campus to interview never call students
back for follow up interviews, much less hire them. The big firms act like they
are doing the school a favor by coming to the school The few students who do
well in the interviewing season are usually those students who are from the
Richmond area and/or attended UVA undergrad. Persons from outside the area tend
to have serious problems finding work.
