Quality of Life Survey
Full-time law program Housing was reasonable (1 br including all utilities & parking for $600). People spend less by getting roommates. The extensive bus system is free for Pitt students and almost everyone takes advantage of that. The law school building has wireless internet access in the student lounge and library. Several of the classrooms have ethernet access. The computer labs (2) have more than enough computers. There was never any time in 3 years that I had to wait for a computer. Free printing of 900 sheets per semester is available at a nearby computer lab. There are extensive food choices within several blocks, from hot trucks with Indian and Asian food to pizza joints to homemade ice- cream to great mexican and american fare. Feel free to sue any or all of them if you gain weight. Even though the area is quite urban, it is quite safe for anyone taking reasonable care. There are campus police parked outside the law school almost all the time.
