| Full-time Law |
With a Penn Law degree you have the door open to any top national law firm in
the country, period. They all come and recruit on campus and consider Penn Law
to be a top tier school on par with the other top 5 or top 10 schools. The rest
is up to you -- grades, law review, how well you interview etc. However, that
said it is harder for you if you are trying to get a job outside the northeast or
chicago. On campus recruiting is very geared toward getting jobs in New York,
Philadelphia and DC, followed to a lesser extent by Boston and Chicago. You will
have to do a lot more leg work, and probably have to schedule your own week long
interviewing trip to California, Seattle etc. if those are the markets you're
interested in. Excellent in public interest placements. Overall a first rate
career placement office.
