Housing is plentiful, affordable, and safe. Facilities underwent a complete overhaul and are brand new and beautiful. Norman is a college town that has experienced a lot of growth recently and is now 100,000 strong. Most campus area apartment complexes are mainly student occupied, making it easy to meet people and find things to do. Condos and houses are cheap to rent and there are some very nice properties that are very close to campus. Crime is low and safety is high. OU has its own police officers and they patrol the law school parking lots and grounds regularly.
