The law school's saving grace is the fact that it is surrounded by a
number of cool bars and restaurants. Memphis has Grizzlies basketball,
Peabody rooftop parties in the summer, and Beale Street. The law school
has Bar Review every Thursday night and a number of student
organizations ranging from the Black Student Society to a revived
presence of legal fraternities on campus. Most students hail from
Tennessee and their is a fairly good cross-section of age ranges and
minorities on campus which gives the classroom a relaxed feel and an
interesting prospective.
