| Full-time law program |
I was told to constantly look over my shoulder when I moved here because
Memphis, like St. Louis or New Orleans is just one of those river cities
where anything can happen and you want to stay aware of your
surroundings. Thus far, I haven't had any problems. Most students live
in surrounding areas near the campus or out east in Cordova. You'll get
little help from the admissions commitee in finding a roommate when
first moving here but your best bet is to post an ad on the bulletin
board before school starts. The school does offer campus housing.
The facilities at Memphis are deplorable. We have leaks, squeaks, and
computer unfriendly classrooms. There has been some recent talk of
relocating the law school downtown but it's yet to be seen if that's
just the rumor du jour.
