Younger graduate students tend to frequent places like Joe's Place, the Atlas, and The Summit for cocktails and socializing. There are plenty of meat market type bars in town, too. The Fall semester is dominated by the UI football schedule. Non-alcohol weekend entertainment is sometimes a challenge during football season.
