Employment Prospects Survey
Full-time law program Career prospects are slim right now. 80% of all lawyers in the state of Colorado are DU graduates. This means that for those of us who want to leave the state of Colorado, chances are slim to none. Campus recruiting is limited to only firms in the Colorado area. So if you want to move to another city, you are on your own. The career services office is useless, given that if you are not in the top 10% of your class, you are not worth their time. However, the internship office is extremely helpful in locating internships for students who want more clinical experience prior to joining the working ranks. They will go out of their way to make sure that your experience is worthwhile.
