Quality of Life Survey |
| Law School - JD |
The campus is in Hyde Park (south of the city center), which is a not-
so-bad area. However, there is little night life there. Crime was
never a major concern for me, but I did hear of a car or two being
broken into near the school.
Chicago is amazing though, and many students move north their second
and third years to be closer to the action. The commute is not bad,
and you get to see more of the city.
First year housing options are plentiful. There is an on-campus
residence hall, several university owned apartments in the area,
several high-rise apartments that shuttle students to campus, or the
usual range of options available through private landlords.
The school has a cafe in the law school which is adequate, if a bit
pricey for what you get.
