Virtually no on-campus housing. LA Housing is expensive, so don't expect to be able to live very close to campus unless you're willing to share a bedroom or are very well off. Campus is plenty safe. As a female, I'd leave the law school or library in the middle of the night and at all hours and it was fine. But you might not necessarily feel as comfortable with this.
