If you can deal with some roommates in a nice house, I would highly reccomend it as an option. Campus is not the prettiest thing in the world, but does the job. The classrooms are being remodeled and the only negative, is that there is no internet access inside the classrooms. As with any other college town there is some crime, but not much. Boalt Hall is located in a very nice location and rarely is there a problem with crime.
