Alabama is known as a party school and the law school is no exception.
Throughout the year, the Student Bar Association sponsors several events
(Including "liquid refreshments"), including bowling parties, band
parties, cocktail parties, and a law school picnic.
"The Strip" (University Ave.) is a road right off campus where there are
tons of bars and clubs. This tends to be a hot spot with the
undergrads, and most law students head downtown. There's Mellow Mushrom
for pizza, and Buffalo's for martinis. Innisfree is a great bar; they
have live music most nights of the week. Catch 22 is a popular bar with
great vodka drinks.
