Admission & Application Survey
Full-time law program First I took the LSAT's, after obtaining the score, it gave me an indication of which schools I can target (I applied to 2 reach schools, 2 target schools, and 2 safty schools). During this process (after LSAT's but before I got the scores back- takes about 3 weeks), I contacted my undergraduate school to have them send the LSAC my transcript, I also contacted Professors/employers to write me lettets of recommendation. That way, by the time my LSAT score was in, my file was complete. The next step was to fill out all of the law school applications. I had some from a law school fair I went to the previous year, but they are also accessible online. I typed all of my applications using a typewriter (looks more professional than handwritten applications) and I also wrote a personal essay (why I wanted to go to law school) and submitted a resume.
