As a part-time student who worked full-time, I didn't have a social
life. I don't remember what that was like. I think the full-time
students went out, though. There's a local bar where we would meet up
after class for study sessions my first year, and my section went out
the last day of finals as a group too, which was pretty fun. The people
in my study group are still some of my best friends, and one person even
ended up being a bridesmaid in my wedding. So overall, I'd say the
quality of people Santa Clara attracts is pretty high, and they are
people you could be friends with for life.
