Almost all OSU Law graduates pass the bar and are working in legal careers
within a year of graduation. It's regarded as the best law school in the state
and has a good regional reputation (in the Eastern Midwest -- say from Illinois
through Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia), but lacks the national clout of
more prestigious schools like Michigan or Chicago. Still, people get jobs at top
law firms in other cities, and receive prestigious federal clerkships if they are
at or near the top of their class. In my class, several people got federal
appellate clerkships, another several federal district court clerkships. People
who want to stay in Ohio couldn't do better if they go to an Ohio school.
