Northwestern Law may be #12 nationwide according to US News, but it is ranked
#30 regarding its career center's placement rates (see www.llm.com). For example,
179 employers came to the on-campus interviewing program at Northwestern, while
at Georgetown Law about 3 times as many employers came to interview students.
The Northwestern career center was ranked among the bottom 3 career centers for
law students (in JD Jungle, I think) and this is accurate. The career center is
under-staffed, over-worked, and disorganized, and the law school's placement
rates suffer as a result.
