Employment Prospects Survey |
| JD/MBA program |
Traditionally, JD/MBA grads can expect a wide variety of job opportunities.
While some employers may ask tough job questions regarding the degree ("If you're
so interested in investment banking, why get a JD?", or "Why the MBA if you're
focusing on practicing corporate law?"), the legal and business community have
embraced the idea of having new hires with a foot in both worlds: world-class
education in law and business (both worlds are even more intertwined, as seen in
venture capital, entrepreneurism, securities litigation, investment banking,
academia, judicial clerkships, and management consulting). Half of the class
typically pursues careers in law, while the other half explore banking,
consulting, and other business-related endeavors. This may vary based on
employment conditions, labor market, and salary considerations.
