Standard application. NUSL looks highly upon persons who are committed
to Public Interest and Pro Bono work. NUSl takes a lot of students who
are not the traditional went to college and now I am applying to Law
School students. Most students have done incredible thing with their
life before NUSL. They do take people striaght out of college(I was one
of them, but you still have to have had phenomenal grades, and be able
to show why you arethe type of student that they would be proud to call
an Alumni. NUSL is very progressive, if you ar enot the average Joe..
you got a good chance of getting in.
The essays were the standard run of the mill nothing too extravagant.
Interviews are optional.
The selection of students is a long process that is done with the help
of current students and a Board that is made of faculty and staff. They
go over the applications and thoroughly go over whya person should or
should not be accepted into the incoming class.
