Unfortunately, since Dean John Sexton got promoited to University President, it is no longer possible to use him for matchmaking services (his skills in this regard are truly legendary). Only the most hermit - like persons will have a problem having a social life here. By the way, conservatives complain they don't have a voice at NYU. This is simply not true--they just are unable to control the discourse the way they do elsewhere. Conservatives who want to be seriously engaged on the merits of their ideas will be well respected by their peers at NYU. Conservatives who think that Bill O'Reilly is too soft on liberal guests shouldn't come here--and probably lack the necessary temperament to be members of the Bar anyhow.
