Being that Michigan State is a Big Ten school, sporting events are a
favortie past time for any student. You can choose from football,
basketball or hockey. Many student organizations host tailgates before
and after the football games on Saturdays. Furthermore, the law college
has their own intramural ice hockey team that competes with other MSU
intramural teams and also the University of Michigan Law School team as
well. Being that East Lansing is a college town, there are plenty of
bars and restaurants. Furthermore, with the state capital less than 10
minutes away, there is also a decent night scene downtown as well.
