Many law schools offer early admission to their Fall semester's entering
class. Generally, this requires submission of your application by the
preceding November or December. Otherwise, applications are usually not
due until mid-March.
Though Loyola has an application deadline of February 2, highly
qualified individuals who apply after expiration of the deadline are
often admitted. However, these individuals usually must have far
superior credentials to applicants who applied in a timely manner.
According to some rankings, Loyola is the 3rd best law school in the Los
Angeles (if not all ofSouthern California). As a result, it attracts a
lot of really talented, smart individuals who could easily attend a
number of top tier schools located in other cities, but declined and
attended Loyola in order to remain in L.A. Thus, the applicant pool is
somewhat more competitive than Loyola's rank might imply.
There is no interview required for admission to Loyola Law School.
