Quality of Life Survey
Full-time law program GSU is historically a commuter school although it has recently added some graduate housing. These facilities are peppered with boisterous undergrads and are not recommended. Affordable housing is not a problem in Atlanta or the surrounding suburbs, especially in the current market. Although in downtown Atlanta the area is really quite safe if individuals take common sense precautions like keeping valuables in car trunks and not on the seat. Campus police frequent the parking decks and surrounding streets and are always happy to serve as escort during a late night walk from library to car. Theft of personal items was a big problem in years past, but has decreased with the addition of library security and cameras. The campus itself is a patchwork of buildings and something is always under renovation, but there are network and power connections in all of the classrooms and in the library study rooms and carrels. The school is also expanding a wireless network that will hopefully make its way to the law school soon.
