The campus is very nice. It is small, but very nice. The library has basically
any
and everything you will ever need, and is GORGEOUS. The classrooms are
wired for AV and overhead and powerpoint and video stuff, and internet
connections, and laptop plug-ins, etc. The classrooms and seminar rooms on the
second, third, fourth and fifth floors of McDonough Hall are generally
EXTREMELY nice--there are still two rooms on the first floor that are not as
ergronomic as they should be. The first floor classrooms, likewise, are less
ergronomic. Luckily, not too many classes are scheduled int here. The moot
court auditorium is fantastic, and the newly-renovated cafeteria is very modern/
art-deco, with flat screen plasma TVs and cute decor. The hot food could be
better, but there are good alternatives to the hot stuff: fresh sandwiches,
salad
bar, soup bar, and the usual bagels/muffins/chips. Public safety is all over
the
place, so the campus is (in my experience) extremely safe. But keep in mind it
is
in the middle of a city. The location is great--right by Union Station, Capital
Hill,
the courthouses, and the Supreme Court, etc. The neighborhood itself is not the
absolute GREATEST, but Georgetown is very upfront about this and provides a
shuttle to and from the metro and the grocery shopping areas after 5 pm on
weekdays and also at certain times on weekends (i'm not sure when). The
school is building a new addition to the campus, with a brand new exercise
facility.
