Career Services is excellent. There are constantly workshops and seminars on
your choices for professions with law degrees, and there is tons of info on firms
from students who summered there and a huge network of people you can contact to
find out about their experiences. Career Services is great about priming you and
prepping you for early interview week, and in my experience, Georgetown is held
in VERY high esteem and prestige with NY and DC firms. I interviewed with 22
firms, and got a call back from 18 of them. I called-back with 6, and got an
offer from all six. Now I'm trying to decide between the top two firms in DC.
Campus recruiting is great, prestige with employers is outstanding, clerkship and
career placement resources are also outstanding, and career services staff is
knowledgeable, friendly, and REALISTIC, which is what you need. You can't be
applying to Covington with a 3.0.
