Quality of Life Survey
Full-time law program The housing is very convenient if you are lucky enough to live on-campus in first-year. But the Residential Life office beleagures the law students with stupid and unnecessary rules that should only apply to undergraduates, if at all. These rules include no sign-ins of guests after 3:00 am, a limit of 2 overnight guests per week, cable TV only available in the living room--no splitting allowed even if you were willing to pay extra, and others. Collectively these are childish and forget the fact that the rent they charge is not that much below market that they should impose these rules on us. They charge about $3100 a month for a 3 BR apartment on 10th Avenue, which you are not alowed to furnish yourself, and you are subject to various rules and limitations that make it difficult to enjoy life in the city as a twentysomething adult male.
