Career prospects at Fordham are very good despite the hard economy. Virtually
every big New York firm interviews and the administration is working on
increasing the contacts to Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago firms.
Early Interview Week is a breeze if you're on Law Review; however, other
students have to make do with less interviews. 40% of EIW interviews are placed
by student preference of the firm, which leaves the average student with 4-8
interviews.
The career services office provides a generally good guidance system, but you
still really have to work for your job search to go as you want it. Things are
harder for 3rd years and LLMs looking for an offer.
