Admission & Application Survey |
| Law Program |
The admissions process was much the same as it is at law other law schools:
LSAT scores count for a great deal, as do undergraduate grades. Law applicants
write one essay for all applications, and I struggled over mine. You're
expected
by all the law schools to pitch yourself as an analytic thinker who wants to do
good things in the world. Law schools as a rule don't interview applicants, and
Fordham followed the rule. Fordham is highly selective. It ranks below two
other
first tier law schools in New York City, Columbia and NYU, but since those two
schools can't enroll all the qualified students who are drawn to study in NYC by
the chance that they will make a great salary at a Wall Street firm upon
graduation, Fordham is filled with many highly motivated, sharp students.
