Duke was the greatest experience of my life. Durham and Chapel Hill are
small towns. For those from New York City (a huge portion of the Duke
student body), this is a big shift. Durham has only a few social
options for students while Chapel Hill has quite a bit more to offer.
Most people at Duke regularly explore both options. The area has
litterally thousands of graduate students for dating and socializing.
There are few young professionals in the immediate area outside of
school. The undergraduates lend their enthusiasm and school spirit to
the mix.
