First things first. My time at Duke was the best three years of my
life. The Duke campus is generally regarded as one of the most
beautiful in the country. It is well-deserved. The Duke owned housing
for graduate students is terrible. Nearby private apartment complexes
offer easy, convenient living with all of the amenities one could
appreciate. The enthusiasm and appreciation of Duke academics and
basketball permiate the campus. Graduate students campout and party for
days in efforts to get basketball tickets.
