Employment Prospects Survey |
| Full-time law program |
If you want to work in a city like New York, Washington DC, or Atlanta, you're
probably in pretty good shape at Duke - nearly every firm that comes to campus
for on-campus interviews has an office in one of those cities. Unfortunately,
because there is no pre-screening for interviews, it works out that some of the
strongest members of the class "hog" all the call-backs because they're always
compared to the more average members of the class by employers. If you would
like
to work elsewhere in the country, you had better be prepared to do a lot of your
own legwork - lots of letter-writing - especially if you're looking at the West
coast.
