Cornell Law School's campus is in a wonderful old Gothic buiding on the
edge of Cascadilla gorge. The library is beautiful and well-appointed.
First year housing in Hughes Hall is fine. No crime to speak of.
Weather in Ithaca is not really as bad as it is often made out to be,
but everyone likes to complain about it. Cornell has a beautiful
campus, bordered by two gorges and overlooking Cayuga lake. It is
particularly beautiful in the spring, fall and summer. There are plenty
of good restaurants nearby in Collegetown or down the hill in Ithaca
proper. At only 180 students per class, Cornell is a place where you
can get to know everyone -- and that is a very nice thing both while you
are on campus and later in life as an alumnus.
