| Full-time law program |
The Career Services Office on campus is wonderful. Along with the traditional
having employers come to campus and interview, there are job listings posted
online and in the career services office. Additionally, the career services
personnel offer programs throughout the school year on various topics relating
to
getting a job. Additionally, there is a second-year symposium that every
second-year student is required to attend which has speakers from various legal
fields talking both about their field and their career path as well as
professionalism. There were also specific programs geared toward persons
interested in intellectual property or litigation, which allowed a student to
determine whether the transactional side of law or the litigation side of law
was
more appealing to them. The Career Services Office also has a reciprocity
program whereby a student at Chicago Kent can make arrangements to use the
career
services office at another law school. The personnel in the office were always
helpful and willing to look over a resume or cover letter or suggest places
outside their office where students might find a job.
