Kent has an incredible network in Chicago, and a great reputation nationwide
among academics. Having said that, its rough if you're here and want to work
there... (Read = outside Chicagoland) Campus recruiting brings the usual
suspects, and some smaller firms as well, but this is still a tier 2 school, for
the time being at least, and it shows. This is a tight legal market, and
Chicago's loss of two behemoth firms is not going unnoticed here. Kent does
make
an effort on behalf of its students though, and it is obvious that they take
career placement VERY seriously.
