Employment Prospects Survey
Full-Time Law Program If you are in the top 10% of the class and on law review, you can pretty much go anywhere. Even most of the 10% to 20% people ended up with jobs relatively soon after graduation. The rate of those finding the types of jobs most of them went to law school to get drops precipitously after that. Also, the school is stronger in the local region. Of my class, about 5 went to NY (all in the top 10% and on the executive board of the law review), several went to D.C. or Chicago, but most, particularly those below the top of the class, stayed in Ohio. At this point, 5 months after graduation, I have 5-6 friends, all in the top 25% of the class, without jobs or prospects.
