Admission & Application Survey
Full Time Law Program Capital is a Tier 4 Law School. I don't know of anyone that had an interview. I worked in Admissions as a Work Study Student my first year and discovered their formula. They key number is 175. They take your GPA and multiple it by 10 (So a 3.0 would be a 30) and then add that to your LSAT Score and if you score a 175 your automatically in. I had to do two mandatory essays to get in but I doubt they read those. They have two people in admissions plus a work study who reviews the files if you are below a 175 they will take your application to a committee to determine if you are admitted. Scholarships are a little more tricky to come by. I had to gather my friends together winter quarter and call several "potential students." I was required to ask them a few questions and offer to take them to a class if they would like. The questions consisted of-how interested in Capital are you and what other schools have you applied to? If they listed other schools we would follow up with-have you been accepted there and have they offered you a scholarship? If the answer was yes and the school was ranked higher than Capital (which most were) the Admissions Dept sent out a scholarship offer.
