The Career Center is helpful, but it requires
substantial work on the part of the student to really derive the full benefit of
what the center offers. They have an extensive "On-Campus Interview" program
where the career counselors get legal recruiters from firms to come to the
school
and interview people based on submitted resumes. They also have an online job
database where employers list available positions, which is also very helpful.
Regarding their reputation, Brooklyn Law School is very well-regarded among the
legal community in NYC and its surroundings. If you end up looking for a job
elsewhere in the country, it might be harder to find a job, but that would be
because of few connections, certainly not b/c of reputation.
