In my opinion, Brigham Young University put a lot of emphasis on the
personal statement. During the first day of orientation, I recall
several statements, that had impressed the faculty, were read aloud to
the incoming student body. They also emphasize diversity at BYU,
although minorities are very much under-represented. The LSAT score are
around the 161 and the G.P.A. are aroun 3.7.
Although you do not have to me a member of the L.D.S. Church, you do
need to have a certification from your religious leader which certifies
that you are of good moral character. This must be renewed every year.
