Dating scene was very good, according to my single friends. The student
body is very diverse and open. There are many foreign students and the
social groups are very exciting. There are so many bars and restaurants
that there did not seem to be any one singular, popular joint. There is
a good sized China town, with excellent restaurants, that are fairly
affordable for all. Newbury Street is very posh and populated by the
chic and savvy, who wouldn't love that. BU is very close to Fenway
Park, which is also loaded with sports bars and dance clubs. Lots of
fun. The city is also peppered with numerous gyms, frecuented by all
local schools (Harvard, New England School of Law, Northwestern, Boston
College), there is no shortage of students. And, if interested, there
ae excellent martial arts schools in various convenient locations.
Excellent city.
