There is a large network of alumni all over the nation, and the alumni association is constantly hosting receptions in most large cities (I live in Portland, Oregon)to facilitate networking. Their on campus recruiting was extensive and resulted in most students receiving offers. Many of my class mates moved out of MA. They also continue follow up and career placement indefinitely after graduation, although much of it is limited to the East coast.
